A JOURNEY OF FAITH

There are a number of effective, scripture-based plans of salvation avaiable to today's witness for the Lord. Among the more well-known and time-proven plans are the "The Roman Road" and the "Four Spiritual Laws."

A more recent plan titled, "A Journey in FAITH," was developed by Bobby Welch, Doug Williams and David Apple, and has been endorsed by the North American Mission Board and embraced with enthusiasm by many of today's Southern Baptist churches.

Under the leadership of our pastor, Mike Privitt, our church began its "Journey In FAITH" in 2002, and since then has completed the trip on four separate occasions, with the result that we now have numerous three-person witnessing teams ably-trained and actively witnessing for the Lord in our community. A number of people have been saved through these efforts.

"A Journey In FAITH" is not for the faint of heart, however. It requires a firm commitment by all participants to be faithful in their attendance and efforts to a 16-week semester of FAITH training and memory work. Classes meet once a week.

For those who are willing to pay the price, it is a very rewarding experience. Those who are faithful emerge fully equipped, committed and excited about the opportunity to witness to the lost.
